Here at MAC Group we have a selection of Quarried Aggregates, all can be used for general construction & are all available for delivery around The Midlands. You can choose from our selection of single sized aggregates made from brick, concrete & gravel.
Red Sand
Our Brownhills Quarry Red Sand is general purpose sand. Ideal for sand and cement mortar suitable for brickwork, ducting and bedding. It's suitable for mixing mortars, renders and bricklaying projects where a smooth finish is required.
Moulding/Foundry Sand
Moulding or Foundry sand is clean, uniformly sized, high quality silica sand, used in foundry casting processes. When moistened and compressed or oiled or heated tends to pack well and hold its shape.
Sharp Sand
Sharp Sand is ideal for screeds, renders or concrete, Sharp Sand can also be used when laying slabs or block paving. It can also be used to improve soils and help drainage.
Lime Spread
Liming chalk, also known as agricultural lime, Chalk typically spread over the fields just after harvesting is a great natural way to level the pH balance of the soil avoiding the use of chemicals.
Building Sand

Lump Chalk
Bulk Chalk is an ideal product for land raising. As the regulations tighten on the use of other materials with many are now classified as waste materials and require environmental permits for use.
Concrete Sand
Concrete Sand is a sand which has angular granules and packs very well. It does contain some pebbles.
